About the studio

Q: What is Urban Cozy Studio?
A: Urban Cozy Studio is a photography and videography studio located in North Tampa Heights, offering a 240-square-foot creative space for photographers and videographers to rent by the hour, day or monthly.

Q: Where is the studio located?
A: Urban Cozy Studio is located at 13542 N. Florida Ave, Suite 213F, right off I-275 in a large yellow building. For ease of access, turn into the parking lot on the right side of the building.

Q: How do I arrive at the studio?
A: Upon arriving at 13542 N. Florida Ave, park near the stairs on the right side of the building for easy access to the studio entrance. The studio is on the second floor, and you’ll find the entrance marked with the Kimberley Asante Photography sign. I will be there to meet you 5 minutes prior to your scheduled rental time to assist with access.

Q: Where should I park when I arrive at the studio?
A: It’s best to park near the stairs on the right side of the building. This location offers convenient access to the studio entrance on the second floor.

Q: What should I do upon completing my session?
A: Once your session is complete, I will be available to assist you with your departure. Just let me know when you’re ready to leave, and I’ll ensure a smooth exit.

Booking and Rates

Q: How do I book the studio?
A: You can book the studio hourly through our PeerSpace link provided on the Booking page. For monthly packages or special requests, please contact us directly.

Q: What are your rates?
A: Our hourly rates are $35 for weekdays and $40 for weekends. Full-day rentals come with a 10% discount, and special monthly packages are available upon inquiry.


Q: What add-ons are available for studio rentals?

A: We offer a variety of add-ons to enhance your studio experience. You can choose from different colored backgrounds to fit the theme of your shoot. Additionally, we provide maternity gowns for rental if you’re conducting a maternity photo session. These add-ons are available for a small additional fee and can be selected during the booking process.

Q: Can I cancel or reschedule my booking?
A: Yes, bookings can be cancelled or rescheduled up to 48 hours before the booked time without penalty. For cancellations or changes made within 48 hours, please refer to our cancellation policy on the Booking page.

Studio Details

Q: What amenities does the studio offer?
A: The studio is equipped with softbox lighting, a comfy sofa, a full-length mirror, a mini-fridge stocked with chilled water, a clothing rack with hangers, air conditioning, and bathroom facilities.

Q: Do you provide photography equipment?
A: We provide basic lighting equipment and a C-stand. Photographers are welcome to bring their own additional equipment.

Q: Are there any limitations on the use of the studio?
A: The studio is located on the second floor without elevator access, so please prepare for stairs. Additionally, while we provide a white paper background with each rental, different colored backdrops can be added for an additional fee.

Usage

Q: Can I bring additional props or equipment?
A: Yes, you are welcome to bring your own props and additional equipment. Please ensure that any equipment brought into the studio does not pose a safety hazard.

Q: Is there parking available?
A: Yes, ample parking is available for studio clients.

Q: What are the studio’s operating hours?
A: The studio is available for booking from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, seven days a week. Special requests for extended hours can be discussed during the booking process.

Policies

Q: What is your policy on food and beverages in the studio?
A: Light snacks and non-alcoholic beverages are allowed in the studio. We ask that all food and beverages be kept away from the equipment and backdrops to avoid spills and stains.

Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: We offer flexible cancellation options through Peerspace.

  • Full Refund: Guests may cancel their booking up to 7 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund, including all fees.
  • 50% Refund: If you cancel your booking between 7 days and 24 hours before the event start time, you will receive a 50% refund of the booking price, excluding fees.
  • Non-refundable: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the event start time are not eligible for a refund.
